(Achillea millefolium)

YARROWFood: Used sparringly as a potherb.

Medicine: Known as the 'life medicine' to the Navaho, used as astringent, salve, and pain killer for toothaches. For earaches Indians poured into the ears an infusion made from the tops of yarrow.

Technology: The flowers produces a light green dye.
