Ingredients

  • 2-3 quarts of hominy corn/ indian corn boil until done or already cooked
  • 1 quart of red kidney beans boiled or 2-3 canned kidney beans
  • 1 pound of salt pork cut in to bite size pieces

Directions

First boil corn for a couple of hours clean corn of skin rinse clean boil again. in another pot cook kidney beans and salt pork together. when both are done add together cook a little longer add wood ashes or rather 2 table spoons of baking soda.

The fast way Boil salt pork add canned kidney beans already cooked to boiling salt pork and then add already cooked hominy corn(Indian corn.)

Serve with fry bread or oven bread.
